In the beginning the now
internationally famous bootees Trade Marked and called Padders were
produced as a "Cottage Industry". But through word of mouth,
the success of this unique product reached out far and wide.
In 1984 R.G.Jarrett Ltd. started manufacturing Padders in a small
factory in the United Kingdom. As demand increased new larger more
modern factories were introduced to satisfy the need for greater
quantities of our bootees. During the nineties we have seen the
development of additional manufacturing in the Far East. All factories
have been vigorously assessed to ensure that the traditions of R.G.
Jarrett Ltd. Continue to provide high quality, competitive prices in a
modern working environment.
These factories are now capable of producing not only our unique
bootees. But also soft soled shoes, novelty bootees and slippers in a
wide selection of quality fabrics.
Our clients include major department stores, independent shops and some
of the largest retailers in the world. Our manufacturing capacity
exceeds 2,000,000 items a year and continues to grow.
